Also, I forgot to mention it, but MP is on the cover of the new August 18, 2008 issue of Sports Illustrated, on newsstands now. After being on the cover for the Olympic Preview Issue, which preceded this issue, it’s no surprise that he’s on the cover again. After all, he was the story of the 1st week of the Games.
Also, is it funny to anyone else that NBC already prepackaged a special edition DVD of Mike to sell after he grabbed that 8th medal? And so the merchandising machine begins!
